The Wine
Tignanello is one of Italy's most iconic and collectible wines, produced by the historic Antinori family from the celebrated Tignanello estate in the heart of Chianti Classico. Widely regarded as one of the wines that helped redefine modern Italian fine wine, it remains a benchmark for the so-called Super Tuscan style.
The 2013 is a beautifully poised and elegant expression of Tignanello, combining the vibrancy and aromatic character of Sangiovese with the structure and depth provided by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Concentrated yet refined, it delivers impressive complexity without losing the freshness and precision that make Tignanello such a compelling wine.
Now entering a superb stage of development, the 2013 offers immediate appeal while retaining plenty of potential for further evolution in the cellar.
