The Wine
The 1997 Taylor’s Vintage Port is a magnificent expression of the house’s hallmark power and elegance. Palate: Full-bodied and rich, yet refined, with velvety tannins and flavours of plum, cassis, dark chocolate, and clove. The wine shows both youthful fruit and evolving layers of dried fruit and balsamic complexity.
Finish: Long with lingering notes of black fruit, spice, and mint, supported by a firm yet integrated structure.
