The Wine
Philippe Colin’s Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Les Chenevottes 2014 is a refined and expressive white Burgundy from one of Chassagne-Montrachet’s highly regarded Premier Cru climats. Les Chenevottes is known for producing Chardonnay with a particularly elegant balance of richness, freshness and mineral precision.
The 2014 vintage is widely appreciated for its freshness and balance, producing white Burgundies with vibrant acidity, pure fruit and excellent definition. With a decade of bottle age, this wine is developing attractive tertiary complexity while retaining its energy. Citrus and white stone fruit are complemented by hazelnut, almond, brioche and subtle mineral notes, while the palate remains focused and beautifully textured.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Elegant aromas of lemon, ripe pear, white peach and citrus blossom combine with toasted almond, hazelnut, brioche and subtle flinty mineral notes.

Finish: Long, precise and refreshing, with lingering citrus, roasted nuts, mineral freshness and a subtle savoury complexity.
