The Wine
The 2015 Paitin Barbaresco Serraboella is a soulful expression of Nebbiolo from one of Barbaresco’s most historic crus. Produced from old vines rooted in Serraboella’s steep, calcareous slopes, this wine blends depth, energy, and traditional character. The warm 2015 vintage brought ripe fruit and soft tannins, making this a beautifully approachable yet cellar-worthy Barbaresco.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Aromatic and lifted, with notes of dried cherry, anise, sweet tobacco, and subtle earth.
Palate: Medium-bodied and harmonious, showing ripe red berries, black tea, crushed herbs, and spice. Silky tannins and bright acidity frame the wine, lending it precision and length.
Finish: Long and graceful, with persistent notes of dried flowers, minerality, and balsamic nuance.
