The Wine

The 2000 vintage marked the first declared vintage Port of the new millennium and is widely regarded as a classic. Graham’s 2000 combines power, richness, and opulence with remarkable structure and longevity.

Known for its plush house style, Graham’s produced a deeply concentrated, expressive Port in 2000. It offers exceptional depth of fruit, firm tannins, and the balance required for decades of cellaring.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Intense aromas of blackberry, cassis, and black cherry layered with violets, dark chocolate, and hints of spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and richly textured, with dense dark fruit, velvety tannins, and notes of cocoa, plum, and black pepper. Balanced sweetness and vibrant acidity provide lift and precision.
