The Wine

The 2017 Gevrey-Chambertin Dix Climats is a finely crafted village-level Pinot Noir from one of the most respected estates in Burgundy. The wine blends grapes from ten of the most esteemed climats of Gevrey-Chambertin, resulting in a wine that showcases complexity, precision, and the characteristic depth of the commune. The 2017 vintage, marked by moderate temperatures and balanced ripening, has produced wines with both structure and elegance.

Nose: Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, violet, and subtle forest floor, complemented by hints of spice and earthy minerals.

Palate: Medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and vibrant acidity, offering flavours of red and dark berries and dried herbs. Layers of complexity develop with aeration.

Finish: Elegant and persistent, with red fruit and savoury nuances lingering on the palate, showing both finesse and balance.
