Vintage: 2010 | Blend: Predominantly Merlot with Cabernet Franc (small portion Cabernet Sauvignon)
Drinking Window: 2018–2035+ | Aging Potential: 20–25 years

The Wine

Château Siaurac is one of the largest and most respected estates in Lalande-de-Pomerol, located on prime clay and gravel soils bordering Pomerol itself. The 2010 Bordeaux vintage is widely regarded as exceptional, producing wines of structure, depth, and longevity.

The 2010 Siaurac combines power with refinement, offering concentrated fruit, firm structure, and impressive balance. It reflects the strength of the vintage while maintaining the plush texture typical of Right Bank Merlot-dominant blends.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Intense aromas of black cherry, cassis, and plum layered with cedar, graphite, tobacco leaf, and hints of spice.

Palate: Full-bodied with ripe, structured tannins and dense dark fruit. Notes of cocoa, mocha, and subtle earthy minerality add complexity, supported by fresh acidity.

Finish: Long, powerful, and persistent, with lingering dark fruit and polished oak.
