Drinking Window: 2010–2040+ | Aging Potential: 30+ years

The Wine

The 2003 Château Musar is a quintessential expression of Lebanon’s most celebrated estate — exotic, complex, and beautifully evolved. The vintage was marked by a hot, dry summer that produced concentrated fruit balanced by Musar’s signature freshness and unique oxidative style. Now fully mature yet still vibrant, this wine captures the character and soul of Serge Hochar’s winemaking philosophy: authenticity, patience, and individuality.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Aromas of dried cherries, figs, cedar, and leather mingle with warm spice, tobacco, and hints of game.

Palate: Medium to full-bodied with a supple texture and layers of red and black fruit, earth, and savoury herbs. The tannins are velvety, and the acidity provides a beautiful lift.

Finish: Long and evolving, with notes of dried fruit, balsamic, and spice lingering on the palate.
