The Wine

The 2018 Château Mont-Redon Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a benchmark southern Rhône red—bold, polished, and classically styled. Sourced from the estate’s prime vineyards on the famed galets roulés (rounded stones). The 2018 vintage delivers vibrant fruit and refined structure despite challenging weather conditions.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Fragrant and expressive, with notes of black cherry, raspberry and a touch of spice.

Palate: Medium to full-bodied, offering layers of ripe red and black fruit, cracked pepper, and dried herbs. Supple tannins and fresh acidity.

Finish: Long and savoury, with a touch of minerality and lingering notes of thyme, black olive, and baking spices.
