Tasting Notes

Nose: Intense aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, and blackberry, layered with notes of cedar, graphite, dark chocolate, espresso, and sweet spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and richly textured, with a concentrated core of dark fruit supported by muscular yet velvety tannins. Hints of mocha, liquorice, and savoury oak unfold with depth and control.

Finish: Long, powerful, and seamless, with lingering notes of dark fruit, mineral, and spice.

Vinification: Traditional fermentation in temperature-controlled vats; aged approximately 18–20 months in French oak barrels (around 70–80% new)
Alcohol Content: ~13.5–14% ABV
Cellaring: Drinking beautifully now with decanting, but will continue to evolve gracefully through 2050+
