The Wine

Château La Fleur-Pétrus is one of Pomerol's most distinguished estates, situated on the celebrated plateau between Pétrus and Lafleur. Owned by the Moueix family, the château is renowned for producing wines that seamlessly combine richness, elegance, and refinement.

The 2006 vintage has matured into a beautifully expressive Pomerol, showcasing the estate's signature balance of power and finesse. Generous Merlot fruit is complemented by silky tannins and remarkable aromatic complexity, resulting in a wine that is both approachable and sophisticated. Now entering a superb drinking window, it offers all the charm and depth that have made La Fleur-Pétrus one of Bordeaux's most sought-after names.

Palate: Medium to full-bodied with a velvety texture and beautifully integrated tannins. Layers of ripe dark fruit are enhanced by hints of mocha, tobacco, earth, and mineral complexity.

Finish: Long, polished, and harmonious, with lingering notes of dark berries, spice, and truffle.
