The Wine
Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste is one of Pauillac's most consistently admired estates, renowned for producing classically styled Bordeaux that offer outstanding value and exceptional ageing potential. The 1995 vintage marked a return to excellence in Bordeaux, yielding structured, long-lived wines that have matured gracefully over the decades.
Now at an outstanding stage of development, the 1995 Grand-Puy-Lacoste beautifully captures the essence of mature Pauillac. It combines the appellation's hallmark cassis fruit and graphite character with evolved notes of cedar, tobacco, and spice. Elegant yet authoritative, it is a compelling example of traditional Left Bank Bordeaux at its finest.
