The Wine

Tasting Notes
Nose: Intense aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry are layered with cedar, graphite, violets, cigar box, and subtle spice.
Palate: Full-bodied and impeccably balanced, with silky yet structured tannins supporting a core of vibrant dark fruit. Notes of cocoa, tobacco, crushed stone, and fine oak add remarkable complexity and depth.
Finish: Exceptionally long, refined, and persistent, with lingering cassis, mineral notes, and elegant savoury character.

Château Figeac is one of the oldest and most prestigious estates in Saint-Émilion. Its unique gravel terroir allows Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc to thrive, producing wines renowned for their aromatic complexity, elegance, and exceptional ageing potential. Following decades of investment and meticulous vineyard management, Figeac was promoted to Premier Grand Cru Classé A in 2022, cementing its position among Bordeaux's elite estates.
