The Wine

The 2005 Château Brane-Cantenac is a quintessential Margaux from one of Bordeaux’s greatest vintages. Combining power, finesse, and aromatic complexity, this wine perfectly captures the estate’s refined, Cabernet-driven style. Structured yet elegant, it offers remarkable depth and balance, with the pedigree to age gracefully for decades.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Complex aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, and plum, layered with notes of violet, graphite, cedar, tobacco, and subtle spice.

Palate: Full-bodied and refined, with a concentrated core of dark fruit framed by firm yet silky tannins. Flavours of dark chocolate, liquorice, espresso, and fine oak unfold with poise and precision.

Finish: Long, seamless, and elegant, with lingering floral, mineral, and spice notes.
