The Wine
Château Batailley is one of Pauillac's oldest and most respected classified growths, renowned for producing classically styled wines that consistently offer exceptional value and longevity. The estate's gravel-rich vineyards produce Cabernet Sauvignon of remarkable purity, giving the wines their hallmark structure, depth, and elegance.
The outstanding 2009 vintage has endowed Château Batailley with exceptional concentration, richness, and balance. Generous dark fruit is complemented by refined tannins and the classic cedar and graphite notes that define great Pauillac. Now entering a superb drinking window, this is a beautifully harmonious wine that combines immediate appeal with the ability to continue evolving for many years to come.

Finish: Long, elegant, and persistent, with lingering cassis, cedar, and mineral character.
